The essentials in a few words
Coaching: a method to help you take action
Coaching is personalised support that helps you to:
Look at your situation honestly
Overcome doubts
Clarify your goals
Take action
Coaching is not about giving advice. It is about asking the right questions so that each person can find their own answers.
What are the four pillars of Co-Active Coaching?
People are naturally creative, resourceful, and whole
Each person already has within them the resources they need to find their own answers. The coach’s role is not to solve problems, but to help bring out the potential that is already present in the client.
I have complete trust in my client’s abilities, even when they doubt themselves.
Coaching supports
the whole person
Coaching is not limited to one goal or one specific problem. It looks at all areas of life: professional, personal, emotional, relational, and more.
All areas of life are connected. A change in one area has an impact on the others.
Coaching is based on the ability to be fully present in the moment.
Co-Active coaching is a dynamic partnership. Coach and client move forward together in a relationship built on trust, active listening, and presence.
I follow my client’s pace. I adapt to what emerges during the session, and together we co-create the experience. We engage in a real conversational “dance,” where each person has their role.
Coaching is action- and
transformation-oriented
The goal of coaching is to create moments of awareness that lead to concrete action.
Coaching does not stay at the level of theoretical discussions. It aims to bring change into the client’s real life by encouraging them to try things out, take action, and grow.
“A coaching process only works
if you are willing to face what you have been avoiding.”

Understanding coaching
To understand how coaching differs from other forms of support and whether it may be the right approach for your needs.
What is life coaching?
Life coaching is a professional conversation designed to help you gain clarity, make decisions, and move forward in areas of your life that feel stuck, confusing, or uncertain. A coach does not give advice or ready-made solutions. Instead, they ask powerful questions and use specific tools that help you reflect, reconnect with your own resources, and find your own answers. Coaching is future-oriented. It helps you clarify what truly matters to you, overcome internal obstacles, and move toward meaningful goals with more confidence and direction.
What is the difference between a coach and a psychologist?
Many people wonder whether they should work with a coach or a psychologist. A psychologist or therapist usually focuses on the past, helping you understand patterns, process experiences, and heal emotional wounds that may still affect your life today. A coach, on the other hand, focuses on the present and the future. Coaching helps you clarify what you want, remove internal obstacles, and take concrete steps forward. The two approaches are different, and sometimes complementary. Therapy often helps repair. Coaching helps mobilize.
What is the difference between coaching and mentoring?
A mentor is someone who has experience in a field you want to develop in. They share their knowledge, give advice, and often suggest solutions based on their own professional journey.
A coach does something different. A coach does not give advice or tell you what to do. Instead, they help you explore your own thinking and find your own answers through reflection and structured conversation. While a mentor guides you along a path they already walked, a coach supports you in creating your own path.
What is the difference between coaching and consulting?
A consultant is an expert who provides solutions based on their professional knowledge and experience. Consulting is mainly about transferring expertise from the consultant to the client.
Coaching works differently. A coach does not provide solutions. Instead, coaching helps clients access their own resources through reflection, awareness, and powerful questions. This process strengthens autonomy, decision-making, and confidence in one’s own choices.
How do I know if I need a life coach?
You might benefit from coaching if you feel:
- stuck or unsure about your direction
- overwhelmed by decisions or life transitions
- disconnected from what really matters to you
- ready for change but unsure where to start
Coaching creates a space to slow down, reflect, and gain clarity so you can move forward with confidence and intention.
Is coaching useful even if I’m doing well?
Yes. Coaching is not only for people facing difficulties. Many people work with a coach because they want to understand themselves better, anticipate an important transition, or develop a specific area of their life. Coaching is particularly valuable for people who want to grow consciously, make better decisions, and achieve their goals more effectively.
What results can I expect from coaching?
Results vary depending on your level of engagement and the goals you bring to the process. What many clients experience includes:
- greater clarity about priorities and life direction
- improved decision-making
- renewed confidence
- concrete actions and progress
- a stronger sense of alignment between who they are and what they do
Is coaching a substitute for therapy?
No. Coaching does not replace therapy. Coaching focuses on the present and the future, helping clients take action and move forward.
If you are experiencing psychological distress, it is important to seek support from a qualified mental health professional.
Coaching is a tool for personal growth and development, not a form of treatment.
Is coaching only for employees or also for individuals?
Coaching is for people, not for job titles. Whether you are an employee, entrepreneur, student, parent, or going through a life transition, what matters most is your desire to grow, gain clarity, and move forward. I work with professionals, entrepreneurs, young adults, and individuals navigating important life transitions.
Is coaching appropriate for my situation?
The best way to find out is simply to talk. During a free discovery call, we explore your situation together. I listen, ask a few questions, and we determine whether coaching would be helpful for you at this moment. If coaching is not the right approach, I will tell you openly.
Before we start: what you need to know
Practical questions about the coaching process, so you can begin with clarity and confidence.
What happens during a coaching session?
A coaching session is a focused and meaningful conversation guided by powerful questions and reflective tools. You bring a topic you want to explore, and together we define the objective of the session. Coaching works best when there is both a starting point and a direction to move toward. My role is not to give you answers, but to help you reconnect with your own resources so your own insights can emerge — the ones that truly belong to you and can guide your next steps.
Will I have exercises or actions between sessions?
Often, yes. Between sessions, I may suggest a small exercise, a reflection, an observation, or a simple action to experiment with. The purpose is to keep the coaching process alive in your daily life, not just during our conversations. Coaching is also about moving into action. That said, you always remain free to go at your own pace. And during our sessions, we also explore what you didn’t do. That, too, is part of the process.
Is everything I say confidential?
Yes. Absolutely. Everything shared during a coaching session remains strictly confidential. The only exception would be in very specific situations discussed beforehand, such as recording a session for supervision purposes — and always with your explicit consent. Respect for your privacy and personal expression is a fundamental part of professional coaching ethics, and something I take very seriously.
Can I stop coaching at any time?
Yes. You are always free to stop. If that moment comes, I encourage you to talk about it during a session. Sometimes the desire to stop appears precisely when something important is emerging. And the way we close a coaching journey is also an important part of the process.
How often are coaching sessions scheduled?
Most clients choose a rhythm of one session every week or every two weeks. This creates a balance: close enough to maintain momentum, and spaced enough to allow what we explore to unfold in your daily life. That rhythm can always be adapted depending on your needs, your schedule, or what you are going through at a particular moment.
Are coaching sessions online or in person?
Both options are possible. I offer coaching sessions:
- online (Zoom or similar platforms)
- in person in Dubai
- occasionally in a Walk & Coach format, where we talk while walking outdoors
You can choose the format that suits your energy, schedule, and what feels most comfortable for you. What matters most is not the place itself, but the space we create together.
What should I prepare before a coaching session?
You don’t need to prepare anything specific. Simply bring whatever is present for you: a question, a difficulty, a decision you need to make, or a situation you want to explore. Coaching begins exactly where you are.
Coaching formats available
Discover the different types of sessions, their purpose, and their duration, so you can choose the format that suits you best.
What is the difference between a discovery call, the exploration session, and the official start of coaching?
The Discovery Call (free) is a 30-minute introductory conversation. It allows us to meet, discuss your situation, and answer any questions you may have. During this call, I also offer a short coaching demonstration so you can experience what coaching actually feels like.
The Exploration Session goes deeper. It marks the official beginning of our collaboration. This 90-minute session allows us to clarify your needs, establish the foundation of our coaching relationship, and set the key reference points for your coaching journey (values, intentions, direction, etc.).
After this first session, we continue with regular coaching sessions, typically lasting 45 minutes to one hour, where you bring a topic or situation you want to explore and move forward with.
What is an “SOS Coaching” session and when should I use it?
An SOS Coaching session is a focused, one-off session designed for urgent or emotionally intense situations.
It can be helpful when you feel overwhelmed, mentally stuck, or under pressure to make a decision quickly. It can also support you before an important moment such as a job interview, a stressful presentation, a difficult conversation, or a major decision.
The goal of this session is to create a safe space to express what feels overwhelming, regain perspective, and restore clarity and calm.
This format is open to anyone who needs immediate support and does not require a prior discovery call or exploration session.
What is “Walk & Coach” and how is it different?
Walk & Coach is a coaching session that takes place while walking outdoors.
The movement creates a more natural rhythm and reconnects the conversation with the body. For many people, walking helps ideas flow more freely, unlocks mental blocks, and brings fresh perspective.
This format can be particularly beneficial if you feel stuck in overthinking and need a more dynamic way to reflect and move forward.
For entrepreneurs and busy professionals who struggle to make time for themselves, Walk & Coach combines reflection, movement, and personal time in one session.
Can I combine different coaching formats?
The formats are designed to serve different needs, so they are usually used separately. For example, Walk & Coach tends to suit entrepreneurs or people who enjoy thinking while moving, while SOS Coaching is designed for urgent or emotionally intense situations. That said, I remain attentive to individual needs. If combining formats makes sense for your situation, we can adapt together. What matters most is that each session serves you in a meaningful and useful way.
Are certain coaching formats better suited to specific situations?
Yes. Each format serves a specific purpose:
- The Discovery Call helps us determine whether we want to work together.
- The Exploration Session establishes the foundation of the coaching relationship.
- The Coaching Cycle allows us to work in depth over time toward a clear objective.
- SOS Coaching is ideal for emotionally intense or urgent situations.
Walk & Coach can be powerful if you think more clearly while moving and need space to breathe.

Yes. The Discovery Call is designed for that purpose. It is free and without obligation. It allows us to meet, discuss your situation, and see whether we feel comfortable working together. How do I book a coaching session?
You can book a session directly online through my calendar, or contact me by email or WhatsApp if you prefer to speak first. Once your session is scheduled, you will receive a confirmation message with all the practical details.
Do you offer payment plans?
Sessions are paid in advance in order to ensure full commitment to the coaching process.
This helps create a clear framework and supports the quality of the work we do together.
What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?
Out of mutual respect, sessions can be cancelled or rescheduled up to 24 hours in advance.
If a session is cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, the session is due, except in exceptional circumstances. This framework protects both your commitment and mine.
How do you know if i’m the right coach for you?
Because effective coaching begins with a genuine human connection.
How can I tell if the connection between us is right?
The coaching relationship is first and foremost built on trust. It’s not only about competence or expertise, but about the feeling of being understood, respected, and safe enough to explore what truly matters.
That’s why I offer a free discovery call. It gives you the opportunity to experience the interaction and see whether you feel comfortable, heard, and at ease working together.
What can I expect from the discovery call?
The discovery call is a 30-minute conversation designed to help us get to know each other. During this time, you can ask any questions you may have and share what brings you to coaching. We explore together what you might be looking for and whether coaching could support you. I also offer a short coaching demonstration (around 10 minutes) so you can experience what coaching feels like in practice and decide whether this approach resonates with you.
What if I have a question that isn’t answered here?
You are welcome to contact me directly by email. Feel free to ask anything you would like to know about my coaching practice, my approach, or the way I work. I believe in transparency and open conversation from the very first exchange.
What if I don’t feel comfortable after the first session?
Tell me. Everything can be discussed in coaching — including that. These moments often allow us to adjust the approach, clarify expectations, or simply make a decision about how to move forward. You are always free in this process, and I will respect your decision whatever it may be.
What is your coaching style?
My coaching style is engaged, attentive, and sometimes gently challenging, always grounded in respect. I adapt to your energy, your rhythm, and what is emerging in the moment. I use a variety of tools — particularly from the Co-Active coaching approach — to support your reflection and growth.
My presence is fully dedicated to the conversation. My intention is simple: to help you clarify what truly matters to you.
Do you share personal experiences if they might help?
My role is not to talk about my own life. My role is to help illuminate yours. The focus remains on you, your experience, and what is emerging in the coaching conversation.
Do you adapt your coaching approach to each client?
Always. There is no rigid method or formula. Each coaching journey is unique because each person is unique. I listen carefully, adapt to your pace, and respect your way of thinking, your hesitations, your momentum — and even your silences.
Celebrities and coaching
In this short video (1 min 25), Eric Schmidt (former CEO of Google) and Bill Gates (co-founder of Microsoft) speak about the value of coaching.
Here is the essence of what they say:
“Everyone needs a coach. We all need feedback. That’s how we improve.”
“When you decide to start coaching, it’s usually because one part of you wants to do something (that’s why you’re here) and another part of you struggles to do it (that’s also why you’re here). Those two parts need to negotiate. The coach acts as a facilitator of that negotiation.”
Coaching: a story that begins with socrates
Do you think coaching is just a trend imported from the United States, invented somewhere between podcasts and Instagram gurus?
Think again.
Coaching actually dates back more than 2,000 years, to the time of Socrates, a Greek philosopher who had already mastered the art of asking powerful questions.
Socrates, the First Coach
Picture Athens, centuries ago.
Socrates walks through the streets, not to deliver lectures, but to talk with people and encourage them to think.
But there’s a catch: he doesn’t give ready-made answers. Instead, he throws out questions that make people reflect deeply. This method is called maieutics — a complicated word that simply means: Helping someone give birth to their own ideas
Socrates looks people in the eye and asks:
“Why do you believe that?”
“What does that mean to you?”
“What if it were different?”
Socrates believed that the answers already exist within each of us.
We simply need to dig a little deeper — and suddenly, the truth emerges.
No advice. No moralizing.
Just powerful questions that help us move forward on our own.
What Does This Mean Today?
Fast forward a few centuries.
Modern coaching is still inspired by this 2,000-year-old method and follows the same philosophy.
A coach doesn’t tell you what to do.
A coach listens, challenges you, and helps you see more clearly — in your mind, in your heart, and even in your gut.
Coaching helps you discover your own solutions, whether you are navigating a life transition, making an important decision, or simply seeking to understand yourself better.
It’s a bit like having a mirror that reflects you differently, showing angles you may never have seen before.
Why Is Coaching So Powerful?
In a world where everyone has an opinion about what you should do — colleagues, family, friends, media — coaching offers a space that belongs entirely to you.
It’s a moment free from outside noise, shared with a thinking partner, your coach, where you can move forward at your own pace toward what truly matters to you.
Imagine your life as a video game.
The coach is not the one playing for you, nor the one handing you the cheat code to win.
Instead, the coach might ask:
“Have you explored that hidden passage?”
“What if you tried a different strategy?”
In the end, you are the one playing the game. You are the one moving forward. You keep the power. And that’s what makes coaching so powerful.
Ready to become the hero of your own story?
Coaching is not only for CEOs or elite athletes.
It’s for anyone who feels the desire to understand themselves better and make decisions that are aligned with their values.
As Socrates might have said:
“True wisdom is knowing that there is always more to discover about yourself.”
So… when do we begin?
